Emergencies
We attempt to be available and accommodate emergencies for the patients of The Purr and Bark Hospital. However, there are times that emergencies will need to be referred to a 24-hour Emergency Hospital. Dr. Regina will still monitor all referred cases and will be available to answer any questions.
Compassionate Euthanasia
When it’s finally time to say goodbye, the most compassionate act of kindness that we can bestow to our faithful companion is a compassionate euthanasia. Our Comfort Suite allows both you and your Pet the privacy, and time you need. An initial injection for sedation will calm your pet and allow you time to say goodbye. Then a second injection is administered and your Pet will pass peacefully on. You can have all the time you need before your pet will be transported to Faithful Friends, if you choose cremation.
If you choose private cremation, your pet’s ashes will be returned to you in a nice encased container, placed in a soft pouch. If you choose communal cremations, the ashes will not be returned to you. If you would rather personally take care of your companion yourself, you may bury your pet on your own property if legal.
